Hi Hannigan's Paint!

Thank you SO much again for hosting this fundraiser. It was such a success! This is a huge donation, and myself and the members of ORSA are beyond grateful that you put this event together, in benefit of the Ontario Rett Syndrome Association. This will in turn benefit the many families that have a loved one with Rett Syndrome.

We cannot thank you enough!

Happy new year!

ART ON THE BOULEVARD

JULY 15 - SEPTEMBER 26 | HAPPENING ALL SUMMER LONG.

ABOUT BLOCK PARTY

For the first time ever, PARK is partnering with Deerfoot City to launch Block Party, an art installation and patio space created by four local artists including a 200ft roadway mural, outdoor lawn games and interactive art seating.

Block Party provides a vibrant, accessible, and safe community space where Calgarians can engage with outdoor public art and one another while socially distancing. The installation is lined by over 200 feet of pathway and walk space and will be accompanied by art adorned picnic tables, umbrellas and benches that meet Alberta Health Guidelines for spacing and cleaning protocols.

Stay and play by enjoying the many food vendors at Deerfoot City’s Food Lodge, outdoor shopping on The Boulevard and entertainment including outdoor lawn games, The Rec Room, iFly and more throughout the summer.

Be sure to #YYCblockparty and tag @destinationdeerfootcity on Instagram so we can see your captures!

Hey this was all from our store! Aura and Arborcoat!

We are happy to be involved with the Phoenix Foundation!

Hi Mike!

I wanted to thank you again for another amazing year! Your donations of mis-tints has made a huge difference for our students and their passion for learning in this ever changing Creation Studio. I wish I were a child getting to attend classes and learn along with the themes in our studio. I thought I would send you the link to the video of our final theme of the year Literary Characters, we have 10 character / fable story areas in this one, whew, our design crew [the Chop Shop Monkeys] are enjoying our week off before the planning for next year begins. I don’t know how I would repaint and redo it all 5 times a year without your kind help. So thank you, you are making a difference in feeding a love of learning in so many children.

So here is the link, the latest video is there, as well as some past pictures and videos from this year. http://phoenixfoundation.ca/2013/05/14/literary-characters-is-now-open/

Here is also a link to our podcast Diana Stinn and I routinely put out where we talk about various things :). You and your generosity are mentioned several times but here is a link to one of them in particular . http://phoenixfoundation.ca/taking-flight/ Go down page to Title: #11 – Focus on Teens

Please feel free to come down anytime and see what is happening!

Storybook

Storybook

From StoryBook's humble beginnings to today, where the theatre produces eight plays per season, offers year-round theatre schools, hosts a playwriting competition - including producing the play - and so much more. Storybook's success can be attributed to its volunteers. For every volunteer there is a story. Multiply these stories by 40 years and you have StoryBook's history. It's not a history that can be easily told, but it can be felt at every rehearsal, at every opening night, and it can be seen in the eyes of every child who sits in amazed silence watching the story unfold. StoryBook Theatre has not only been a part of the Calgary community but it has grown with the community and today is Canada's largest volunteer driver Theatre for Young Audiences.
